Job summary

Roundhouse in Nampa, ID is hiring a Leasing Consultant to manage the leasing process from first hello to signed lease and keep residents happy. You will read prospects, qualify them, and close with care, not pressure, while maintaining CRM records.

You’ll drive occupancy, conduct tours, coordinate renewals, and support events. A high school diploma, MS Office skills, and strong communication are essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong sales and customer-service skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between properties.
• Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospects, answer questions, and verify eligibility at first contact.
• Build resident relations, address concerns, and drive retention.
• Walk the community daily to keep tours, models, and amenities sharp.
• Prepare notices, renewals, service requests, and move-ins/outs.
• Hit occupancy and renewal goals with strong closing performance.
• Maintain CRM records and manage resident communications.
• Track local market trends, complete market surveys, and adjust pricing.
• Support marketing and flag local opportunities to management.
• Help plan and host resident events and activities.
• Keep files organized and follow safety procedures.
• Represent Roundhouse positively and ensure Fair Housing compliance.

Nampa, ID · $18-$20/hour + commissions · Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm

What you'll own

You are the front line of the community and the engine behind occupancy. That means you:

• Welcome prospects, answer their questions, and verify eligibility as their first point of contact.
• Build strong resident relations by addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention.
• Walk the community daily to keep tour paths, models, amenities, and common areas sharp.
• Prepare and process notices to vacate, renewals, service requests, applications, move-ins and outs, transfers, and roommate changes.
• Hit community goals for occupancy, renewals, and turn times, with at least a 35% rental closing ratio.
• Manage resident communication channels and keep accurate CRM records.
• Track local market trends, complete monthly market surveys, and recommend competitive pricing to the Community Manager.
• Support marketing initiatives and flag local opportunities to management.
• Help plan and host resident events and activities.
• Keep resident and vendor files accurate and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, and on-equipment labels.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, safety procedures, and company policy, and represent Roundhouse positively in every interaction.

You take initiative, own your numbers, and make people feel at home from the first tour.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong sales and customer-service skills.
• A strong desire to lead, both in your role and in your local community.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between properties as needed.

A leg up if you have:

• At least two years of sales experience.
• At least one year onsite in multifamily housing.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, or similar CRM tools.
• Spanish fluency.
