Job summary

Roundhouse is hiring a Leasing Consultant in Missoula, MT. You will manage the leasing process from first hello to signed lease, ensuring excellent resident relations and smooth move-ins. You will tour properties, assess eligibility, and promote community features while supporting marketing efforts.

The role emphasizes achieving occupancy targets, maintaining CRM data, and delivering exceptional resident experiences with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong sales and customer-service skills.
• Desire to lead and serve the local community.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between properties.

Responsibilities

• Welcome prospects and verify eligibility as the first point of contact.
• Attend to resident relations and drive retention by addressing concerns.
• Conduct daily tours and maintain clean models, amenities, and common areas.
• Process notices to vacate, renewals, service requests, and move-ins/outs.
• Aim for occupancy and renewal goals with measurable turnover metrics.
• Maintain CRM records and manage resident communications.
• Analyze local market trends and assist in pricing decisions.

Pine at Wildroot - $18.50-$19 an hour + commissions • Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-5pm

As a Leasing Consultant, you manage the leasing process from first hello to signed lease, and you help keep current residents happy enough to stay.

What you'll own

You are the front line of the community and the engine behind occupancy. That means you:

• Welcome prospects, answer their questions, and verify eligibility as their first point of contact.
• Build strong resident relations by addressing concerns, ensuring satisfaction, and driving retention.
• Walk the community daily to keep tour paths, models, amenities, and common areas sharp.
• Prepare and process notices to vacate, renewals, service requests, applications, move-ins and outs, transfers, and roommate changes.
• Hit community goals for occupancy, renewals, and turn times, with at least a 35% rental closing ratio.
• Manage resident communication channels and keep accurate CRM records.
• Track local market trends, complete monthly market surveys, and recommend competitive pricing to the Community Manager.
• Support marketing initiatives and flag local opportunities to management.
• Help plan and host resident events and activities.
• Keep resident and vendor files accurate and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures in the Employee Handbook, SOPs, and on-equipment labels.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, safety procedures, and company policy, and represent Roundhouse positively in every interaction.

You take initiative, own your numbers, and make people feel at home from the first tour.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong sales and customer-service skills.
• A strong desire to lead, both in your role and in your local community.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally between properties as needed.

A leg up if you have:

• At least two years of sales experience.
• At least one year onsite in multifamily housing.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, AIRM, LEO, Appwork, or similar CRM tools.
• Spanish fluency.
