Job Description

Essential Job Functions

1. Meet with prospective residents, identify their housing needs, interview them to determine eligibility, show suites and amenities, quote rates and promotions, follow up, and manage rental applications and deposits. Manage internet leads and social media activities to increase engagement. (30%)
2. Complete applicant screening and prepare correspondence. (15%)
3. Prepare leases, maintain records, and manage waiting lists in accordance with policies and regulations. (15%)
4. Utilize property management software for leasing data. (10%)
5. Ensure apartments are ready for occupancy, distribute keys and move-in materials. (10%)
6. Stay updated on marketing techniques, conduct outreach, and understand competitor offerings. (5%)
7. Mentor newly hired leasing staff. (5%)

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-2 years leasing or sales experience; multisite experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Skills: fair housing laws, affordable housing, Microsoft Office, customer service, persuasiveness, personal accountability.
• Yardi/CRM 8 experience preferred.
• Weekend work may be required.

Compensation

Hourly: $16.98 - $23.77, commensurate with experience.
