Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Walk marketing tour path and prepare apartments for viewing and move-in readiness.
• Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly.
• Answer calls, set viewing appointments, and convert inquiries to tours.
• Tour prospective residents with energy and the Weidner approach.
• Facilitate the application process at the end of tours to ensure leasing success.
• Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt.
• Maintain timely and respectful communication with applicants after results.
• Follow Move-In Experience with approved applicants and maintain traffic in queue.
• Monitor market conditions by reviewing competitive properties at least monthly.
• Ensure market-ready apartments, common areas and amenities meet Weidner quality standards.

Position Summary

As a Leasing Consultant, you are a dynamic professional who easily relates and communicates with prospective and current residents of your community. With a warm and energetic personality, you will consistently find joy in creating lasting and positive impressions. This role is responsible for coordinating the communities marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue retention goals. A successful Leasing Consultant is able to manage their time effectively, is detail oriented, a trustworthy team player, and takes pride in their work. In addition, this position needs to be accountable and attentive to provide excellent customer service skills when interacting with residents, associates and vendors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, ensure clean and rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenities
• Respond to resident and prospective resident calls and emails promptly in the morning
• Answer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments
• Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way
• Ensure successful leasing by facilitating the application process at the end of the tour
• Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt
• Timely and respectful communication with applicants upon receiving results
• Follow Weidner Move In Experience with all approved applicants
• Maintain and follow up on traffic in queue
• Shop competitive properties at least monthly; Adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies
• Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experienced required
• Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
• Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email and text
• Experienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programs

• Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code / uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times

• Working knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organized
• Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation, at all times
• Driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times and match the country in which associate will work
