Job summary

Dietz Property Group in Columbus, OH is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant (40 hours/week) to join our residential property management team. You must have at least 1 year of experience in sales or face-to-face customer service and be able to perform essential duties listed below.

Ideal candidates excel at selling, connecting with people, and maintaining a professional office. Proficiency with Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook, and internet is required, with flexibility to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in sales or face-to-face customer service.
• Selling/closing skills and ability to identify customer needs.
• Experience with Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and internet.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
• Previous property management experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Make and take phone calls with prospective customers and residents, describing features and value.
• Perform sales presentations and tours to prospective customers.
• Prepare/process screenings and paperwork for applicants and residents.
• Create and participate in resident social activities.
• Provide quality, professional service to residents, team members and vendors.

Dietz Property Group is seeking a sales professional to become a Full-time Leasing Consultant (40 hours per week) with us at one of our premier apartment communities in the Columbus, OH area. You must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a sales or face-to-face customer service role and be able to perform the necessary requirements outlined below to be considered for this position.

DUTIES:

The specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Make and take phone calls with prospective customers and residents, describing the community's features, benefits and value
• Perform sales presentations and tours to prospective customers -- must be able to identify and sell to the customer's needs
• Accurately prepare/process required screenings and paperwork for applicants, new residents and residents renewing their lease
• Create and participate in resident social activities
• Provide quality, professional service to prospective residents, current residents, team members and vendors
• And other various required duties related to the position

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time Leasing Consultant position for which the hours vary depending on the property needs but mostly is an M-F 9 to 6.
