Summary Of Position

Performs a variety of administrative tasks geared toward the goal of maximum occupancy by quality residents and performs other functions as assigned by the Community Manager. This position is considered an essential function to the operation of the Community; therefore, consistent attendance is an essential requirement, as it directly impacts the ability to perform duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Provides tours of apartments to prospective residents.
• Runs credit reports on prospective residents.
• Prepares lease packets.
• Inspects apartments prior to showing them.
• Maintains logs of traffic through the property.
• Leases units.
• Provides information over the telephone to prospective residents.
• Maintains a visible public relations attitude toward current and prospective residents.

Occasional Functions

• Typing and filing property-related reports.
• May assist with rent collection, bank deposits, or other general errands.
• May assist with resident retention activities.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Some advanced real estate training, including familiarity with Landlord-Tenant and Fair Housing laws, and prior leasing experience; preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License (if operating a vehicle).

Physical Activities

• Typing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, or sitting for periods.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

General

• Hours will coincide with community hours. Weekend work may be required.
