We are seeking experienced leasing consultants for The Kendrick Apartments, a 437-unit high-rise community located in Atlanta, GA. Ideal candidates will have experience in apartment leasing and marketing, resident retention, and relationship building.

Summary

The Leasing Consultant will conduct tours, complete leasing processes with prospective residents, implement marketing strategies, plan and host resident events, and maintain positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Interview prospective residents and record their needs and qualifications.
2. Accompany prospects to model or vacant apartments, discussing layout, amenities, and lease terms.
3. Follow up consistently with prospects.
4. Process applications in accordance with policies and procedures.
5. Manage lease renewals as needed.
6. Schedule move-ins and complete all related paperwork.
7. Inspect units prior to move-in to ensure readiness.
8. Follow up with new residents post-move-in.
9. Periodically inspect premises and coordinate maintenance.
10. Plan and coordinate resident events.
11. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
12. Assist with marketing duties, including market surveys and resident notices.
13. Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing regulations.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience as a leasing professional preferred.
• Up to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with virtual and in-person tours preferred.
• Knowledge of property management platforms (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
• Marketing skills, including social media and resident event planning, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required depending on the property.

Environmental and Physical Demands

These include constant walking, standing, and sitting; frequent stairs climbing; occasional bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching; lifting less than 10 lbs frequently and over 10 lbs occasionally; strong finger dexterity; good eyesight and hearing; ability to communicate effectively; working indoors and outdoors with moderate noise levels; and potential exposure to chemicals and fumes.
