Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Leasing Consultant (Sales & Resident Experience Consultant) to lead a team and drive property success. You will be a people-loving professional who energizes the leasing process and delivers outstanding resident experiences.

The role emphasizes in-person engagement, market awareness, and collaboration with the Property Manager to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction. Base salary is competitive within the Virginia market.

Qualifications

• At least two years of transferable customer service experience.
• Proficient in writing, speaking and understanding English.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Energetic, engaging, and people-focused.

Responsibilities

• Love people and close deals with a target closing ratio of at least 20%.
• Maintain a professional and friendly leasing office atmosphere for prospective residents.
• Be an inspector of tour routes and models to ensure they look their best.
• Keep aware of local market conditions and trends and relay insights to management.
• Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing and resident satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents and team members.
• Maintain professional resident communications, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate strong administrative skills with attention to detail.

• You have to LOVE people, all kinds of people!!
• You must be able to “seal the deal”! Expectations of at least a 20% closing ratio
• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents gather
• Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
• Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends
• Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing property and improving resident satisfaction
• Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written communications
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective, existing residents and your team members
• Have exceptional administrative skills with attention to detail

• You have at least two years of transferable experience in customer service
• You have the ability to adapt to new technologies
• You are proficient in writing, speaking and understanding the English language

Current anticipated annual base salary range: $43,680 - $49,920. Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law.

The role is also eligible for the following benefits:
