Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments in Chicago is seeking a Sales & Resident Experience Consultant to lead the leasing team and drive property success. You will be a people-loving professional who guides the team, closes deals, and delivers exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

You must have at least two years in customer service, adapt to new technologies, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Two years of transferable experience in customer service.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the leasing team to drive the property's success.
• Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written channels.
• Inspect showrooms and models to ensure they look their best.
• Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends.
• Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing and resident satisfaction.
• Perform administrative tasks with attention to detail.

• You have to LOVE people, all kinds of people!!
• You must be able to “seal the deal”! Expectations of at least a 20% closing ratio
• Maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents gather
• Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
• Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends
• Contribute ideas to the Property Manager for marketing property and improving resident satisfaction
• Maintain professional resident communications via verbal and written communications
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective, existing residents and your team members
• Have exceptional administrative skills with attention to detail

Current anticipated annual base salary range: $42,000 – 48,000. Base salary within the range will be determined by various factors including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and other factors permitted by law.

The role is also eligible for the following benefits:
