Job summary

University Partners is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support leasing, marketing, and resident relations while delivering excellent customer service. You will help achieve occupancy goals and ensure Fair Housing compliance across all interactions.

The role involves touring communities, processing applications, coordinating with maintenance, and assisting with move-ins and renewals. Weekend availability is expected in peak leasing seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, guests, and vendors.
• Lease apartments in alignment with occupancy and revenue goals.
• Follow Fair Housing standards in all interactions.
• Conduct tours and present community features and amenities.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts.
• Review applications including income, credit, and background screening.
• Prepare and maintain lease files and required documentation.
• Verify apartment readiness prior to move-in.
• Support lease renewal and retention efforts.
• Track leads, guest cards, and follow-ups in property management systems.
• Respond to calls, emails, and resident communication professionally and timely.
• Assist with work order entry and maintenance communication.
• Support move-in processes including documentation and system setup.
• Maintain leasing office, model units, and amenity presentation.
• Maintain knowledge of market competitors, pricing, and concessions.
• Understand required application information, screening process, policies.
