Job summary

Link Logistics Real Estate, based in Southern California, seeks an Assistant Vice President, Leasing to lead leasing activities across SoCal and Phoenix markets. The role is market-facing and operates with substantial independence, reporting to the Regional SVP.

The AVP will guide leasing negotiations with brokers and outside counsel, mentor junior staff, and participate in budgeting and forecasting processes while collaborating with operations teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in commercial real estate, accounting or finance with direct exposure to commercial leasing.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, real estate, finance or related field preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels.
• Lease transaction experience (industrial or office preferred).
• High energy with strong analytical and technical skills.
• Able to thrive in a dynamic, demanding environment and meet deadlines.
• Travel approximately 25% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned market/properties as directed by the Senior Vice President.
• Negotiate LOIs, leases and renewals with 3rd-party agents and outside counsel with guidance from SVP.
• Attend market events relevant to the assets/geography covered.
• Represent LINK to the brokerage community with professionalism.
• Participate in the annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
• Gather market intelligence for investments, development, finance, etc.
• Coordinate with the local operations team on reporting and tasks.
• Mentor/train junior staff.
