Job summary

Vertical Bridge REIT, LLC is seeking an Asset Management Leasing Specialist to drive negotiations, extensions, amendments, and renewals of ground leases while coordinating with Legal, Due Diligence, and Asset Management teams. The role emphasizes relationship-building with landowners and timely approvals to support development.

You will analyze leases, optimize portfolio performance, and prepare deal decks for Investment Committee, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and data-driven insights

Qualifications

• Minimum four-year degree required, preferably in business or other related field
• Minimum three years of experience; preferably in real estate or commercial/telecommunications leasing
• Minimum two years of experience producing and working with legal documents
• Strong negotiating skills with experience in property management
• Advanced Excel competency and proficiency with other MS Office suite products
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively
• Ability to prioritize, effectively manage time, and multi-task with limited supervision and under firm deadlines
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth changing environment

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for lease extensions, FTED renewals, amendments and sublease consents
• Coordinate pricing for ground expansions and optimize ground leases
• Cultivate relationships with landowners and secure timely approvals and signatures
• Review and abstract ground lease provisions to identify risks and opportunities
• Serve as liaison between Legal, Due Diligence, and Asset Management teams
• Prepare and present deal decks for Investment Committee approval
• Maintain databases tracking landlord activity and lease actions
• Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization
• Ensure execution of lease-related documents and permits
• Assist VP and Director with special projects and strategic initiatives
• Support post-closing integration and lease compliance
