Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Leasing Finance Analyst to join Global Leasing. The role provides analytical support throughout the sales process for structured asset-finance transactions, including true leases, finance leases, and loans across asset classes.

You will integrate tax, accounting, credit, and other constraints into lease optimization models and prepare pricing and economic analyses for funding and booking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with complex financial analysis and/or financial modeling.
• Strong analytical/financial analysis skills with business acumen in commercial banking.
• Expertise in Excel and/or specialized tools for cash flow optimization and analysis.
• Experience with Accounting, Tax, Credit, Operations and Documentation in Leasing/Structured Asset Finance.
• Confidence to challenge inefficient solutions and proactively escalate concerns to the team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate transaction economics using pre-tax and after-tax metrics.
• Price and model new transactions around internal metrics and markets.
• Optimize cash flows and structures through creative analysis.
• Advise on tax and technical aspects of lease structuring and analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop documentation schedules and pricing exhibits as needed.
• Act as economic consultant to Leasing team, clients, and management.
• Identify and analyze commercial, structural, tax and accounting issues.
• Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Operations on questions or issues.
• Develop and maintain analytical models as needed.
