Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an analytics-focused professional for its Global Leasing group in Chicago. You will analyze transaction economics, price new deals, and optimize cash flows, while coordinating with Tax, Accounting, Credit and Operations to finalize funding and pricing.

You will develop models, present findings, and support commercial decisions with rigorous financial analysis. A 3+ year background in leasing, asset finance, or project finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with complex financial analysis and/or financial modeling.
• Strong analytical/financial analysis skills with strong business acumen in the commercial banking industry.
• Expertise in use of Excel and/or specialized tools for cash flow optimization and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working with Accounting, Tax, Credit, Operations and Documentation functions in the Leasing / Structured Asset Finance / Project Finance or similar sector.
• Confidence to challenge inefficient solutions and pro-actively escape any concerns to the team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate transaction economics (pre-tax and after-tax metrics).
• Price new transactions for hold and sell; model around internal metrics and/or syndication market.
• Use creativity to optimize cash flows / structures.
• Advise on tax and other technical aspects of lease structuring and analysis.
• Prepare presentation materials for internal and external presentation.
• Prepare associated document schedules and pricing exhibits; review / develop documentation as needed.
• Act as an analytical consultant and provide economic expertise and structuring solutions to the Leasing team, external clients, and management.
• Provide support in identifying, analyzing and working through commercial, structural, tax and accounting issues.
• Point of contact for Credit, Risk, Finance, Tax, and Operations on questions or issues.
• Develop and maintain analytical models as needed.
