Job summary

Beam Living is seeking a Leasing Agent for StuyTown in New York, onsite. You will guide prospects from initial contact to resident, conduct energetic property tours, and manage applications with attention to fair housing standards.

Strong communication, leasing/sales experience, and weekend availability are essential; Real Estate license is a plus. This full-time hourly role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in residential leasing, sales or hospitality.
• A results-oriented sales professional who meets or exceeds goals while prioritizing customer service.
• Superior time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to work weekends (required).

Responsibilities

• Exemplify to prospects why StuyTown is the best place to live while building rapport and establishing trust at all interactions.
• Conduct a high volume of property tours with new clients in an enthusiastic, exciting and compelling manner.
• Record feedback in our Residential Management System with specific details regarding the prospect’s apartment search.
• Communicate the lease application process, landlord polices and house rules.
• Follow up with all prospective renters via telephone and email while adhering to our Customer Service Time Standards.
• Review and process applications, including required paperwork, background screenings, apartment details, rent and security deposit amounts and other lease documents.
• Accountable for reaching monthly leasing goals and landlord objectives.
• Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisor.
