We’re looking for a driven and service-oriented real estate professional to fill the role of Leasing Agent / First-Time Homebuyer Specialist. In this unique hybrid position, you’ll receive direct rental listing assignments and daily lead flow, giving you the opportunity to close leases quickly while nurturing long-term buyer relationships. You’ll be showing properties throughout the Austin metro area, meeting clients both in the field and in the office. Evening and weekend availability is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

This position has no desk, franchise, or monthly fees. We offer a highly competitive 75% commission structure on both leases and home sales. New agents can expect to earn between $65,000 and $100,000 annually, with experienced agents earning well above $100,000.

A current Texas Real Estate License is required, along with reliable transportation and a strong commitment to client service. If you’re ready to create a steady income stream while growing your real estate career, we want to hear from you.

Compensation- A competitive 75% commission structure on successful home sales & leases. No monthly, desk, or other fees. Expected commissions range from $65,000 - $100,000 for new agents and $100,000+ for experienced agents.

Responsibilities

  • Market available properties across multiple platforms, including real estate websites, MLS, and social media
  • Conduct move-out inspections and coordinate necessary repairs, and make-ready work with the Property Services Manager
  • Show rental properties to prospective tenants and assist with lease applications
  • Guide first-time homebuyers through the entire purchase process
  • Conduct property tours
  • Educate clients on local market conditions and property values
  • Assist with rental and purchase contract negotiations
  • Maintain relationships with mortgage lenders and other industry professionals
  • Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Provide information about first-time homebuyer programs and financing options
  • Coordinate with property managers and residents for rental showings
  • Promote available properties using various social media and websites to help ensure quick rental contracts
  • Validate all personal references and rental application information
  • Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure closing of the deal
  • Show prospective tenants properties and highlight the provided amenities to help ensure rental contract
  • Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in residential leasing or real estate sales
  • Strong knowledge of local rental and housing markets
  • Understanding of first-time homebuyer programs and FHA loans
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Active membership in the Austin Board of REALTORS with MLS access
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in real estate customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Competent in Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new programs and systems
  • Past sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
