Job summary

Banyan Living is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent to drive occupancy and resident satisfaction across our communities. You will market properties, negotiate lease terms, and deliver exceptional service to prospective and current residents.

Lead tours, process applications with thorough checks, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws while building strong relationships to boost retention and referrals. This hourly role offers a bonus opportunity for new leases and renewals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends.
• In-depth knowledge of leasing processes, property management systems, and Fair Housing regulations.
• The ideal Experienced Leasing Agent will demonstrate a proven track record in residential leasing and mentoring junior staff.

• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior leasing staff as needed.

In this position, you will leverage your prior leasing experience to effectively market our properties, negotiate lease terms, and deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents.

• Utilize previous leasing experience to process applications, perform thorough credit and background checks, and qualify prospective residents in compliance with Fair Housing laws.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospects and residents to foster community retention and referrals.
• Collaborate with management to implement marketing strategies aimed at increasing leasing performance and occupancy rates.
• Prepare accurate lease agreements and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and legal requirements.

This hourly position also qualifies for a performance bonus, based on new leases and renewals.
