Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Affordable Housing Leasing Agent in New York City to assist with apartment leasing, applicant screening, and resident placement across multiple residential properties.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in affordable housing or residential leasing, with knowledge of LIHTC or Section 8, and familiarity with NYC Housing Connect. Must be able to travel to properties and occasionally work weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in affordable housing, residential leasing, or property management.
• Experience with LIHTC or Section 8 programs and eligibility review.
• Knowledge of NYC Housing Connect and housing lottery procedures preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience is a plus.
• NYS Real Estate Salesperson License preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• Willingness to travel to NYC properties and occasional weekends.
