Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Accountant to support month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis for a portfolio of properties. You will collaborate with operations, finance, and asset management teams to ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 3+ years of related experience in real estate or portfolio accounting, and strong Excel skills; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in real estate, property, or portfolio accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Yardi experience a plus.

  • Consolidate and analyze accounting results for assigned property portfolios.
  • Prepare month-end close deliverables, including journal entries, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure financial statements are accurate and in compliance with GAAP.

Position Overview:

The Accountantwill be responsible for month-end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and asset management teams while supporting ongoing process improvement initiatives.
