Role Description:

The Leasing Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Kansas City, MO, responsible for managing the resident leasing journey from initial contact through move-in. Day-to-day tasks include greeting prospective residents, conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and guiding applicants through the application and screening process. The role involves preparing and executing leases, maintaining accurate lease files, and coordinating with property management to ensure units are ready for occupancy. The Leasing Agent will respond to inquiries, follow up with leads, support lease renewals, and collaborate with the property team on marketing vacancies and maintaining high occupancy levels. Regular interaction with residents to address questions, provide excellent customer service, and support a positive living experience is central to this position.

Qualifications

• Experience with leases and lease administration, including preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate lease documentation.
• Background in property management or residential leasing, with familiarity in day-to-day operations of residential communities.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and handle resident inquiries professionally.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Kansas City, MO, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic office software and property management systems.
• Comfort with sales-oriented activities such as conducting tours, following up on leads, and meeting leasing targets.
• High ethical standards, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous leasing or real estate experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education a plus.

Hourly pay plus bonuses for each completed move-in.
