American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. (AMH) is seeking a Leasing Agent to drive occupancy by consultative selling and strong relationship building. You will present housing options, respond to inquiries, and close leases with attention to legal and policy compliance.

The role requires a state real estate license, 3+ years in sales or customer-facing roles, and proficiency with MS Office. Weekend availability is anticipated, with an hourly compensation structure and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing experience.
• Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred.
• A valid State Real Estate License is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
• Outstanding communication abilities and analytical skills to solve problems effectively.
• Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top‑notch customer service.
• Flexibility to work weekends is required.

The Leasing Agent serves as the company's primary sales representative for prospective residents, responsible for driving occupancy through consultative selling, relationship building and lease conversion. Responsibilities include prospect rapport prospective resident needs, presenting compelling housing solutions, and closing leases.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Compensation

This position is not bonus‑eligible.
