This fast-paced role requires strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing or sales is strongly preferred.
• Licensed in Illinois or ability to obtain the required permit within 120 days.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

As a Leasing Agent, you’ll be the first impression of our brand for prospective residents. You’ll guide them through the leasing process—from initial contact to move-in—while delivering an elevated, concierge-level experience. Key Responsibilities

• Consistently follow up with leads through calls, emails, and texts to maximize conversions.
• Negotiate terms and close leases while meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
• Deliver a warm, solutions-focused approach to all interactions with prospects and residents.
• Anticipate resident needs and resolve concerns quickly to maintain satisfaction and retention.
• Process applications, prepare leases, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Keep up-to-date on current availability, pricing, and promotions.
• Coordinate move-in and move-out activities, ensuring apartments are market-ready.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the local rental market and competitor offerings.
• Represent FLATS at community events, open houses, or other promotional activities as needed.

• Illinois Leasing Agent or Broker’s License required or ability to obtain a 120-day Leasing Student Permit before starting.
• Leasing experience is desired.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
