Job Title: Leasing Agent (Commission-Based)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Leasing Agent to join our team on a commission-only basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for self-driven individuals with a passion for real estate, sales, and helping people find their next home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lease apartments and assist with off-site marketing for approximately 400 scattered site communities in Baltimore City/County
• Conduct physical and virtual tours
• Maintain accurate records of photos, floor plans, property descriptions, amenities, etc. for all apartment homes
• Assist in weekly inspection and upkeep of show ready units and overall property appearance and curb appeal
• Follow all Fair Housing laws
• Complete and assist in the processing of rental applications
• Prepare and properly execute Lease Agreements and related forms
• Prepare and maintain resident files and general office files
• Complete or assist the Property Manager in maintaining up-to- date accurate reports, lease packages, market surveys, web sites and other correspondence
• Assist in collection of rents and deposits for new move-ins
• Submit work orders immediately after notification and follow-through for completion
• Be knowledgeable and able to assist in scheduling preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
• Be knowledgeable of move-in and move-out inspection procedures and execute according to company policies
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants and representatives of other companies
• Assist with the resident retention & renewal process
• Check all voicemails, emails, text messages, and internet leads when received and respond in a timely manner
• Consistently and accurately record all communication in property management software

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in real estate, leasing, or sales is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter with excellent time management
• Reliable transportation and flexible schedule

Compensation:

This is a commission-only position; with a monthly stipend for work related expenses. Agents are paid a competitive percentage of each successful lease transaction. High earning potential for those who are proactive and committed.
