Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Financial Analyst in our Chicago office. The role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, AR/AP operations, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize financial performance for the Leasing Advisory teams.

You will support data-driven reporting, budgeting, and revenue recognition activities, with opportunities for automation and process improvement in a dynamic CRE environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience
• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in commercial real estate or leasing is a plus
• Forecasting and budgeting knowledge
• Familiarity with ERP systems and BI tools

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close processes including preparing journal entries and variances
• Oversee AR/AP maintenance and review AP vouchers for compliance
• Collaborate with AP/AR to ensure timely payments
• Lead data entry and maintain data collection, reporting, and communication systems
• Partner with teams to implement efficient processes and automation opportunities
• Support revenue recognition and monitor financial objectives
