Job summary

KMG Prestige in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Leasing Consultant/Administrative Assistant who is energetic, goal-oriented, and ready for new challenges. This permanent role includes training and growth potential, with opportunities to advance into Assistant Manager or Manager roles.

We are looking for a self-starter with strong customer service and two years of property management experience, ideally in affordable housing. Real Estate license or willingness to obtain is required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable property management experience.
• Real Estate License or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite (preferred), Yardi or Entrata.
• Availability to work M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Answer a multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries, including resident work orders.
• Assist in processing applications and leasing paperwork, as well as certifications and re-certifications for Section 8 and LIHTC housing programs.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining resident records (physical and digital), and inspections.
• Oversee pest control scheduling and follow-up.
• Process rent payments and assist with delinquency follow-up.
• Collaborate with team on tasks, projects and inspections as needed.
• Promote resident satisfaction through outstanding customer service.
• Learn and train on additional tasks to prepare for the next step in your property management career.
