Job summary

CEC is seeking a detail-oriented Lease Labor Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing for Leased and Contract Labor Employees. This role ensures accurate payroll calculations, verifies timesheets, and maintains compliance with labor regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, payroll experience, and the ability to handle confidential information. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred. Construction industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for leased and contracted labor employees.
• Ensure accurate calculations of wages, overtime deductions and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure payroll is processed in a timely manner.
• Review and verify time sheets.
• Identify discrepancies and work with supervisors or vendors to resolve issues.
• Ensure labor hours are properly coded to jobs, projects, or cost codes.
• Strong communication with staffing agencies and labor vendors to confirm worker details and pay rates.
• Maintain updated records of Leased Labor including assignments, rates, and employment dates.
• Performs other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
