Village Green is seeking a Lease-Up Specialist in Joliet, IL to drive leasing activity for a new community. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, from first contact through move-in, with strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing or sales with a focus on the customer experience.
• Ability to greet, qualify, and tour prospects and guide them through leasing.
• Familiarity with lease documentation and basic credit/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leasing, marketing, and renewal efforts to meet occupancy goals.
• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, follow up on leads.
• Process rental applications, conduct credit/background screenings, and prepare lease docs.
• Deliver a smooth move-in experience and maintain strong resident communication.
• Build positive relationships with current residents and support renewals.
• Maintain knowledge of local market, pricing, concessions, and availability.
• Support outreach and marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and CRM activities.
• Maintain accurate prospect/resident data in the property management system (Yardi or similar).
