Job summary

Sweet Auburn Grande in Atlanta, GA, a 109-unit LIHTC/HOME and market-rate community, is in lease-up and seeking an organized, resident-focused Assistant Property Manager to join Gorman & Company. You’ll help establish a thriving community from the ground up, support the Property Manager, and lease in compliance with Affordable Housing policies.

Responsibilities include tours, applications, approvals, renewals, rent collection, onboarding move-ins, and coordinating with compliance and vendors.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of leasing or property management experience.
• Familiar with LIHTC housing programs and compliance.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.
• Ability to occasionally work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments in compliance with Affordable Housing, Fair Housing, and company policies.
• Conduct tours, manage applications, leases, renewals, and resident follow-up.
• Build relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and community partners by doing outreach marketing.
• Assist with compliance paperwork, annual certifications, and coordination with the Compliance team.
• Manage rent collection activities, resident notices, service requests, and general administrative tasks.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, evictions, and court-related documentation as needed.
