Job summary

Jonah Energy seeks a Lease Operator I to support safe, efficient production in the Olympus field near Jal, NM. Under supervision of the Foreman - Production, you will perform daily checks of wells and facilities, operate compressors, monitor well performance and enter data into ProdView.

Applicants need a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license, with willingness to work day shifts, overtime, and some nights. Oil & gas experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate production equipment safely and follow procedures.
• Strong communication, basic computer use, and reliable teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain lease equipment and production facilities.
• Perform basic operating tasks including tank gauging and monitoring valves and heaters.
• Record daily production data and enter into ProdView.
• Conduct facility and compressor inspections and monitor wells.
