Job summary

Inspire-Brands, a multi-brand restaurant company, seeks a Lease Accounting Analyst in Atlanta to support lease accounting under US GAAP (ASC 842). You will perform month-end close, prepare subledger entries, reconciliations, and internal/external reporting, and collaborate with FP&A, Real Estate, and Audit teams.

Onsite 4 days/week at our Global Support Center. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Accounting; 1–2 years of accounting experience; CPA track preferred.

Qualifications

• US GAAP concepts and application to lease accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and data accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end lease accounting process by maintaining proper accounting and documentation.
• Perform analysis of legal documents and determine lease classification in accordance with US GAAP.
• Complete month-end close including subledger work in CoStar, general ledger entries, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Liaise with other departments and external auditors to ensure proper accounting for lease transactions.
• Perform ad-hoc projects and technical research to support company decisions.
