Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an experienced Lease Accountant to manage ASC 842 lease accounting for real estate and other leases. You will prepare journal entries and monthly financial reports in line with GAAP, review general ledger activity, and coordinate with Real Estate and other partners.

The role requires 3–5 years in accounting/audit, a BA in Accounting, and preferably CPA status; experience with SAP and data analytics tools is a plus. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, public accounting, or internal audit.
• Retail industry experience and SAP exposure are pluses.
• CPA certification or CPA candidacy preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and SEC awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly lease accounting per ASC 842 for real estate and leases.
• Prepare complex journal entries and GAAP financial reports.
• Review GL, income statements, and balance sheets; perform reconciliations.
• Develop and enforce accounting controls and procedures.
• Support audits, budgets, and forecasts.
