Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Lease Accounting Associate to manage financial obligations for a large lease portfolio at our Chesapeake corporate office. You will review and process lease-related expenses, analyze lease agreements, perform audits, and collaborate with landlords and internal teams to ensure accurate payments and recoveries.

You will support cost-saving opportunities, ensure compliance with lease terms, and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial real estate, lease administration or related field.
• Strong math and accounting fundamentals.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial aspects for approximately 650+ store leases and review payment schedules.
• Process and approve lease-related payments including rent, CAM, taxes, and other occupancy costs.
• Review lease agreements and perform audits to validate billing accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain lease payment records and monitor portfolio activity.
