Columbus State Community College is looking for a part-time Learning Support Specialist II to provide in-person tutoring for students in various subjects. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and at least one year of teaching or tutoring experience.
The LSS II will help cultivate critical thinking skills while maintaining documentation of all tutoring sessions and assisting in training newer staff. This role fosters a supportive learning environment.

The Learning Support Specialist II (LSS II) performs duties of a professional tutor in their area(s) of academic expertise and experience. The LSS II tutors in-person in individual or small group settings, helping students attain deeper understanding of assigned subject matter, develop effective learning skills, and cultivate critical thinking.
Part‑time (40 hours per week)
