Job summary

Enterprise City Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide to assist certified educators in delivering instructional and support services that promote student achievement. You will help plan and implement learning experiences and maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment while supporting small group instruction.

Responsibilities include assisting with attendance, records, and materials, promoting positive behavior, and using technology to communicate and report data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/associate level education required or 48 college credit hours.
• Ability to meet suitability criteria under state law (Alabama Child Protection Act).
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated success in relevant work experience.
• Ability to work in a high-demand, stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates support for the school system and its goals.
• Presents lessons or portions of lessons and checks student work.
• Helps students use books, computers, and classroom materials.
• Keeps routine records related to attendance, grades, and behavior as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality and professional conduct in all duties.
