Job summary

UMOS is seeking a caregiver assistant to support classroom activities and family engagement in Cardwell, Missouri. You will work with a Classroom Teacher to schedule visits, implement plans, and track child progress.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; a CDA credential or enrollment in CDA within a year is preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English and basic computer skills are desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid high school diploma or GED.
• Preschool CDA credential or state certificate; if not, must enroll in a CDA program within 1 year.
• Some childcare experience preferred; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with basic computer/data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, complete and track home visits, conferences, and screenings with classroom teacher.
• Create/update individualized plans with parents and track child progress.
• Guide activities and manage classroom materials per standards and policies.
• Maintain health and safety policies; supervise and assist with meals and routines.
• Document and report on children's development and classroom activities.
• Communicate with families about progress and daily activities; participate in meetings.
