Job description

Missouri State University is hiring an Assistant Teacher CDC. The role involves providing care, safety, and nurturing for infants through preschool children, assisting in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate programs, maintaining a safe and clean environment, instructing other adults in proper care, and communicating with parents about child development and their children’s progress.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; 60 college credit hours in child and family development preferred.
• Experience requirement varies: no experience required with 60 college credits; otherwise, two years working with young children and families.
• Required certification or ability to obtain CPR and first aid certification within 30 days of employment.
• Preferred Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Hourly pay rate is $15.00; position requires physical ability to supervise children effectively and pass a background check.
