Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in education, special education, psychology, or related field.
• Experience in academic or executive functioning coaching or student success services in higher education.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and technological skills.
• Experience teaching/tutoring college-level students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support in various discipline areas, individually and in workshops for groups of students.
• Assess students’ academic skills and learning strengths, weaknesses, and styles.
• Help students develop metacognitive skills and self-regulation of the learning process.
• Monitor the academic progress of at-risk students.
• Collaborate with the Office of Accessibility Services to support students with learning disabilities and executive functioning challenges.
• Use technology to track outreach, support and follow-up with at-risk students.
