Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a Quality & Training Specialist Associate to coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led and virtual training for Customer Solutions Centers. You will apply foundational learning principles and entry-level instructional design to align learning with operational needs and service quality.

This role partners with CSC leadership, manages LMS content hygiene, tracks attendance and outcomes, and supports change management with simple trend summaries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in arts or science required OR; associate degree with 2+ years of customer service experience OR; high school diploma or GED with 4+ years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led and virtual training.
• Monitor and score customer interactions using standard rubrics.
• Coordinate invites, rosters, rooms/links, and materials; ensure readiness of spaces and technology.
• Publish sessions, enroll learners, record completions, and keep LMS content accurate.
