Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

VRC Investigations is seeking a qualified Learning Program Designer with LMS experience.

This position plays a critical role in the development and delivery of engaging educational content for our employees, clients, and customers in the insurance industry.

This position supports the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of training materials and programs across multiple platforms, including our Learning Management System (LMS) and webinar platform.

Working closely with the subject matter experts and key stakeholders, the Learning Program Designer ensures that learning experiences align with the organization's goals and meet the needs of a diverse audience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, reporting to the VP of SIU Compliance & CE.

The successful candidate will have related experience in the following areas:

• Instructional design and course development for both in-person and online environments
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course creation, uploading
  content, and system management
• Multimedia content development experience, including video editing and e-learning tools (e.g.,
  Articulate, Captivate, or iSpring).
• Ability to manage delivery of training through webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom) and coordinate
  virtual events.
• Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
  and stakeholders.
• Technically proficient with SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning content standards (preferred)
• Experience in customer service and relationship management with both internal and external
  customers
• Knowledge of the various states’ insurance CE rules and requirements for CE Providers
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, AI tools, LLM’s and other productivity
  tools

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Course Design and Development:

• Create and design engaging online learning modules, webinars, and blended learning
  programs
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop course content that aligns
  with organizational needs and goals
• Ensure all content is accessible, visually appealing, and follows instructional design best
  practices

2. LMS and Webinar Platform Management:

• Manage and maintain the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) by
  uploading courses, monitoring user activity, and troubleshooting issues
• Coordinate and assist SME deliver live webinars and virtual events, ensuring seamless
  technical execution and engaging participant experiences
• Monitor course completion rates and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of the
  training programs

3. Stakeholder Collaboration and Support:

• Provide training and technical support to employees, supervisors, and clients on using
  the LMS and webinar platforms
• Work closely with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment in course
  offerings across the organization
• Collect and analyze course feedback to continuously improve the learning experience

4. Content and Process Improvement:

• Stay current with emerging trends in instructional design and e-learning tools to
  recommend improvements
• Assist with the formatting and editorial review of course materials to ensure
  grammatical and stylistic accuracy
• Evaluate new technologies and strategies to enhance the learning experience for both
  internal and external audiences

5. Customer Education and CE Programs:

• Support the development and administration of Continuing Education (CE) programs
  for licensed professionals
• Maintain required documentation for CE courses and ensure compliance with state
  regulations
• Coordinate with HR and other department leaders to provide refresher and compliance
  training programs

6. Project Management and Reporting:

• Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines
  are met with minimal oversight
• Generate reports on training progress and learner performance and present findings to
  key stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and certifications to ensure
  compliance and audit readiness

Compensation

VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis at an hourly wage based on commensurate with experience.
