Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Product Owner for the AUEN Academy to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of the Academy platform. You will work with Learning Designers, SMEs, HR, IT, and vendors to drive adoption, analytics and governance across regions.

The role focuses on LMS/LXP ownership, learning analytics, and a seamless learner experience, with a hybrid work model and global collaboration at its core.

Qualifications

• You have experience in Learning Operations, Learning & Development, LMS Administration, Training Administration, Programme Coordination, Product Ownership, or a related field
• You are highly skilled in Learning Operations, Programme Coordination, LMS Administration, Learning Technologies, and Digital Learning Platforms.
• You have experience working with software vendors, developers, IT teams, or digital product environments and can effectively gather requirements, prioritise enhancements, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• You are passionate about creating exceptional learner experiences and driving platform adoption through continuous improvement, communication, and engagement initiatives.
• You possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience using data to drive decisions, monitor adoption, measure impact, and support business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of the AUEN Academy while serving as the Product Owner for the Academy platform. Each day, you will ensure learning programmes are delivered effectively, learners have a seamless experience, and the Academy platform continues to evolve to meet business needs. You will also showcase your expertise by working closely with Learning Designers, SMEs, HR, IT teams, developers, vendors, and regional stakeholders to drive learning adoption, platform enhancements, reporting, and operational excellence across AUEN

This role is contributing to the AUEN Academy within Automation & Electrification (AUEN). Main stakeholders include Sales Excellence, HR, Learning & Development teams, Subject Matter Experts, regional business leaders, platform vendors, IT teams, developers, and Academy learners across all HUBs.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Learning Platform & Digital Ecosystem Ownership
  • Hands-on ownership of LMS/LXP platforms, including administration, integrations, user management, learning pathways, testing, releases and vendor coordination. Learning Analytics & Business Impact
  • Ability to turn learning data into actionable insights, build meaningful dashboards, measure adoption and demonstrate business value beyond completion reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate Business access and leveraging of technical training tools and software (Articulate Rise, Synthesia etc)
• Stakeholder Influence & Global Coordination
  • Experience coordinating across SMEs, HR, IS, Academy Leads, regions and external partners, influencing decisions and driving outcomes without direct authority. Learner Experience & Adoption
  • Designing intuitive, role-based learning journeys and improving engagement through strong learner experience, communications and "learning in the flow of work" principles.
• AI-Enabled Learning Operations
  • Practical understanding of how AI can support learner guidance, recommendations, automation, role-play and content discovery, combined with appropriate governance and oversight.
• Governance, Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Building scalable operations, governance processes, compliance controls, and continuous improvement mechanisms that ensure a high-quality experience.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in Learning Operations, Programme Coordination, LMS Administration, Learning Technologies, and Digital Learning Platforms.
• You have experience working with software vendors, developers, IT teams, or digital product environments and can effectively gather requirements, prioritise enhancements, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• You are passionate about creating exceptional learner experiences and driving platform adoption through continuous improvement, communication, and engagement initiatives.
• You possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience using data to drive decisions, monitor adoption, measure impact, and support business outcomes.
• You have excellent organisational, project management, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across geographical regions.
• You are at ease communicating in English. Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, AI-enabled learning tools, Agile methodologies, or learning platform ecosystems would be advantageous
