Job summary

Brazosport College is seeking a dynamic and innovative Learning Frameworks faculty member to teach courses that introduce psychological theories of learning, cognition, and motivation to support college-level student academic strategies.

The position is full-time, tenure track, and located on-site in Lake Jackson, TX. The candidate should hold a Master’s Degree in Education or an equivalent credential, and demonstrate commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in education courses from a regionally accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Prepares curriculum, including writing syllabi, developing new courses, selecting textbooks, etc.
• Develops and teaches learning frameworks classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods, including dual enrollment instruction at local high schools.
• Assists in the advisement of students;
• Serves on various assigned college committees and supports student success;
• Performs other faculty duties as assigned.
