Job summary

EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging content using adult learning principles and to work with SMEs to assess needs. You will implement programs in the LMS, collaborate with the L&D team, and support both virtual and in-person training delivery for our workforce.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field and 3+ years of corporate learning design; strong written communication; proficiency in Microsoft

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.
  • 3+ years of designing and developing learning content in a corporate environment.
  • Communicates effectively in writing, producing clear, concise, and professional content.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with HR systems.
  • Sets clear objectives, aligns efforts, and manages time and resources to achieve results.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging instructional content using adult learning principles.
  • Work with the L&D team to implement programs within the LMS.
  • Partner with SMEs and stakeholders to conduct needs assessments.
  • Support virtual and in-person training delivery.
