Stride, Inc. seeks a Learning Development Specialist to design, develop, and deliver high-quality professional development content within the SPD platform, including online courses and live trainings for educator growth.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and production teams, translating content into engaging experiences and applying adult learning principles to ensure accessible, effective PD.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in education, professional development, instructional design, or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear content.
• Experience developing professional learning content, curriculum, or instructional materials for adult learners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality professional development content within the SPD platform.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and production teams to create engaging learning experiences.
• Apply adult learning best practices to ensure content is accessible and effective.
• Develop multimedia learning assets (videos, activities, assessments, etc.).
• Coordinate with school leaders and cross-functional teams to analyze PD needs and plan offerings.
• Prepare face-to-face and virtual professional development opportunities for Stride schools.
• Assess effectiveness of trainings and present results to stakeholders.
• Revise courses based on feedback, data, and evolving organizational needs.
