Job summary

Milwaukee School of Engineering invites applications for a full-time Learning Experience Designer - Emerging Technologies to join the CREATE Institute. The role leads exploration, integration, and promotion of emerging technologies across MSOE’s curricula, supporting faculty in adopting digital tools and pedagogical approaches that enhance student learning and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design, faculty development, or supporting technology integration.
• Experience with AI, AR/VR, or data analytics in education.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies relevant to teaching and learning.
• Partner with academic departments and IT to integrate technologies into curricula and resources.
• Monitor trends and translate them into actionable initiatives for MSOE.
• Develop and maintain a repository of technology‑enhanced teaching resources.
• Ensure resources are accessible and aligned with learning outcomes and initiatives.
• Evaluate effectiveness of technology integration using qualitative and quantitative measures.
