Job summary

DISHER is seeking a Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary design projects from its Indianapolis studio. You will drive teams of architects, designers, and consultants to deliver on schedule, budget, and design intent for K-12 and higher education facilities.

You will collaborate with project architects, engineers, clients, and contractors, ensuring quality outcomes while mentoring staff and promoting continuous learning within a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of architectural project management experience.
  • Experience with K-12 and higher education projects preferred.
  • Strong client-facing and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
  • Plan, organize, and allocate resources; maintain communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Oversee design development, construction documents, and coordination with consultants and regulators.
  • Monitor project progress and budgets; prepare reports and adjust plans as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support staff to maintain a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in client meetings, marketing efforts, and field visits as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and firm standards while supporting growth and innovation.
  • Adhere to the Human Performance Code of Conduct.
