The Learning and Development Specialist II is a critical thinker who is responsible for analyzing, communicating, testing and verifying requirements for learning and development projects and learning strategy services delivered or coordinated by Learning and Development. This position is responsible for conducting functional training across all business units, related to organization policies, procedures (operations) and technology. The Learning and Development Specialist II supports delivery of the New Employee Orientation and New Manager Orientation. Additionally, the Learning and Development Specialist II supports the development of innovative and engaging Instructor-Led Training (ILT) training courses and Learning and Development programs. This role will conduct needs analysis, timeline/resource estimations, and assist with knowledge transfer and train-the-trainer programs.

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering in-person and online training courses.
Knowledge and experience with:
– Engagement tools
– Adult learning principles
– Microsoft Office Suite
– Facilitation best practices for people development and business processes
– Training technology that offers alternatives to in-person delivery such as Adobe Connect/WebEx for Training, and other related tools.
– Working in a health care setting strongly preferred.
– Experience with Success Factors.
– Experience with Articulate Storyline.
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or Education.
Certification in instructional design or performance consulting, or related Learning and Development discipline.
Hours: 8am to 5pm (Pacific Time)
