Job summary

SBA Group is seeking a motivated L&D Specialist (with focus on L&D and Employee Experience) for our North Carolina facility. The role emphasizes designing development programs for production teams, coordinating training, and building skill maps to support growth and succession.

You will work in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to influence training strategies and drive engagement across the workforce. Hybrid work up to 5 days a month is available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of proven experience in an L&D or HR Generalist role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Solid knowledge of training practices, HR compliance, labor laws.
• A higher education degree (preferably in HR management or related fields).
• Strong experience in skills and workforce planning. Practical knowledge of training systems, methods, and channels (ADP Learning Module, JIRA).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish language is an advantage).
• A proactive, responsible approach to work, a results-driven mindset, and strategic thinking that balances employee and business needs.
• The ability to work effectively with employees at various levels in a dynamic and flexible environment, manage change, and make confident decisions within your area of responsibility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

Support company-wide engagement initiatives and HR projects, including performance management, change initiatives, and culture development efforts. Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor standards, and internal HR policies. Provide backup support for HR Coordinator and HR Generalist as needed

We believe you have:
