Job summary

Igus is seeking a Learning and Development Business Partner in Rumford, RI to design, coordinate, and continuously improve onboarding and professional development programs. You will partner with leaders to identify training needs and deliver effective learning solutions across the organization.

The role emphasizes designing engaging onboarding experiences, developing e-learning content, and measuring training impact to drive operational excellence and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in HR, OD, Education, Business or related field preferred.
• Five+ years in learning and development, onboarding, or talent development.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience creating learning materials, job aids, and e-learning content.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Excellent project management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end onboarding processes for new employees.
• Prepare onboarding materials, schedules, and training resources.
• Facilitate onboarding sessions and ensure a positive new hire experience.
• Coordinate stakeholder involvement throughout onboarding.
• Conduct onboarding follow-up and program evaluations for improvements.
• Coordinate and facilitate Order Entry Basic Training programs.
• Maintain training materials and ensure content stays current.
• Track participation, completion, and learner effectiveness.
• Support employees in achieving operational proficiency and process compliance.
• Partner with business teams to assess performance gaps and learning needs.
• Provide recommendations for training solutions aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with managers and SMEs to design targeted development initiatives.
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
• Redesign and relaunch Train-the-Trainer program.
• Establish training standards, facilitator guides, and best practices.
• Develop internal trainers to deliver learning content effectively.
• Evaluate trainer performance and provide coaching to improve facilitation.
• Design and develop engaging e-learning modules and digital solutions.
• Convert instructor-led content to scalable digital formats.
• Support broader talent development initiatives.
• Measure learner engagement and training effectiveness with analytics.
