Job summary

Financial Partners Credit Union seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to design and deliver innovative training solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness. You will develop online and classroom content, job aids, videos, and internal marketing materials to communicate offerings.

You will conduct onboarding for new Partners, provide coaching, assess training needs, report on data, and maintain records while collaborating with leadership to drive performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years industry experience or equivalent years of experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with LMS and course authoring systems a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live classroom and virtual training to support onboarding and ongoing development of Partners.
• Create engaging learning activities and course content using instructional design theories and methods.
• Incorporate media elements such as audio, video, animation, and interactive job aids into learning programs.
• Provide coaching and feedback to leadership on performance improvements observed during training.
