Job summary

3M is seeking a Learning Design Manager to lead design and development of instructional content for a global audience. You will translate business priorities into actionable learning objectives, create prototypes, and oversee end-to-end programs across modalities.

You will collaborate with SMEs, Portfolio Managers, and vendors, building roadmaps and reusable templates. Strong facilitation, analytics, and AI tools experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development for online and in-person learning.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into learning objectives and roadmaps.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning design and curate solutions across modalities with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success criteria and project roadmaps.
• Develop teacher and learner guides, videos, and playbooks aligned to objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure clear SOWs and SLAs.
• Facilitate modules and train-the-trainer sessions when needed.
• Iterate designs using feedback, analytics, and testing.
